Safari in Nairobi

DSC00859One of the great things about the company I work for is they have a destination bidding system, which basically means you can bid for destinations that you want to go to – although of course there are no guarantees. I have always wanted to go on an African safari and so I decided to bid for Nairobi, Kenya, because it is well known for being the gateway for some of the best African safaris. Now sadly for me I only had one day so I embarked on a mini safari with three other crew members around the Nairobi National Park and it was a great way to experience a safari without spending a week out in the bush (although I would definitely like to do that when I have more time). As an avid sushi eater and tea drinker, I couldn’t wait to get stuck into all the tasty treats, which are available only in Japan, as after all eating different food is one my favourite things to do while travelling. It is no secret that flying can be pretty hard on your body and with the air on board having less moisture than the Sahara desert it is no wonder that we often find ourselves disembarking with dull, grey, dehydrated skin.

For those that know me, or are regular readers of this blog you will know that I am a bit of a skincare fanatic, and when I first started working as cabin crew I quickly noticed the effect that regular long haul flights were having on my skin. After months of trial and error I have found a method that works for me when it comes to rehydrating my skin after a long flight. View Post
